Hallelujah!

Exams are over, most of the Christmas gifts have been bought, advent hymns are being sung in our church, we had a work Christmas party last night, and I am a free woman again! I have the next 4 days to prepare for a Christmas at the Hale's. We will be there for 2 full weeks and I'm pumped to say the least. We will be able to see his family, including Daniel (the 2nd Hale son) and his new wife Brooke who are here from Korea. We will also be able to spend time with my family who will be making the long haul from Colorado to the Memphis area right after Christmas. This year Christmas feels different. As we have begun to lose family members, the holidays are bittersweet. We are sad and mourn for those who will not be there but rejoice in the new births and in the lives of our families who are still here. Yay for Christmas!
