Retreat

K So I realize I haven't posted in awhile. Just wanted to tell ya'll that I will I promise. I had an AMAZING weekend at the Redeemer Women's Retreat and can't wait to post pictures. It was RELAXING, FUN, and INTIMATE! I actually feel like I know a lot of real, fun women right now and am sad that we'll be moving in May :( which I should blog about soon. Anyways, I will post pictures when I can but I have a bunch of papers and presentations that I'm working on right now. woot woot.

A Sunday Twitch

Has anyone else ever had a weird eye twitch? This morning mine was on my right eyelid and it would not stop. We woke up and got ready for church. twitch*. We went to Sunday school and everytime John (SS leader guy) looked at me (I felt like, although he probably didn't notice). twitch*. I introduced myself to some girls who were in Sunday School that I had not met. twitch* It wouldn't stop. Someone suggested rubbing it. I did. twitch*. I thought to really rub it hard. twitch*. Now I have a sore eyeball. During church, Mike is preaching a powerful sermon about the power of words. Jed looks over at me and notices it's gone! guess what. twitch*. Maybe it represents something beautiful and deep and even mysterious and powerful. I can't think of anything right now though. twitch*.

Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day in the Hale abode was way fun.

So I realize that the pictures are going backwards. Blogger won't let me do it the other way unless I'm smart and post backwards. I am not smart. So this is what I walked in the door to on Valentine's day....Jed had a whole candlelit dinner for me.

Afterwards we ate Reece's cheesecake...mmmmmm.....so VDay was successful.

2 in one day!

I'm in rare form...or I'm avoiding eating. It is actually the second one :) I am trying to wait to eat but I'm STARVING! Wesley got the keys to his new place today so he and Jed just moved his bed. He's living in the duplex at the bottom of the hill and I'm SO excited! I'm glad he'll be near us still and hope that means we'll still see him a lot. I am gonna hang out w/Kris (you know, my neigbor and good friend) tonight and am excited about food and chatting. whoohoo!!!

These are some of my favorite pictures ever. These are the girls that I meet with on Sunday nights for accountability/fun. Last Sunday we had group at our house and ate Korean food (real style~on the floor in the den) and had a blast together. I enjoy them so much and am so blessed by their friendships!
